Reminds me of a few cats I cought in a box trap when trying to catch coons and opossums on their nightly raids. Talk about having a "tiger by the tail". No I didn't grab them by the tail. But mad and scrappy cats? I had to wear my welding gloves for protection when releasing them from the box trap in the morning. :E
