I'm thinking, with that spay incision, it will be easier for BJ to feed and take care of five puppies. Still sad, though. Hope you and Renee manage to get some sleep. What a day it's been for you.

So glad BJ is fine. I'll bet she'll appreciate her remaining 5 pups all the more.

BTW does it matter to those who said they wanted a pup whether that pup is male or female?

Oh, I'm so sorry she's had a rough time of it. Hope she heals well and is able to tend to those wee ones. She's certainly in good hands with the vet and with you. Best wishes and congrats on the beautiful pups.
