At what age is it ok to walk a dog on hard ground or pavement? Didn't see much info on line and what I saw stated you should walk a dog on other than soft surfaces such as dirt until they are a year ...

Thanks, all! I'm well aware of hot surface issues-we get sun most of the day on the driveway this time of year so I do the "palm test". I press my hand on the driveway and if I can't stand it neither can the dogs.
