Have to see another new vet..yet again !!!

Before our vet moved away in December, she recommended another vet in the practice ...we made an appt and she saw Izzy in February...things went well, Izzy seemed very comfortable with her....so today I called to make an appt for both the girls 6 month ocular pressures...only to be told this vet has left ... so I had to make a choice from 3 other vets..one of whom almost killed Bella because she would not follow the ME protocol until we had a verbal battle so she wasn't even in the running ... It is so frustrating....I emailed our vet that moved to another province and she told me where her replacement left to work so that is also a possibility if the girls don't respond well to the new vet...so fingers crossed for Thursday .

Sounds like maybe something is not well within that practice for vets to come and go so quickly?

I am starting to think there might be some issues...

We saw the new vet today, she is one of the owners of the practice..To say I was underwhelmed would be an understatement ! She never said one word to the girls...just froze their eyes..and then did the pressures...didn't ask anything other than did I need to order any meds ...I don't think she would recognize either one of the girls again...I literally had to stop her from going out the door so fast as I had some questions about the girls international travel needs...I am so disappointed.
  • We have a couple of leads on english speaking vets in EC ...it will be part of our deciding factor as to where to settle down as we need a good vet !
  • Hopefully all will go well. Fortunately, you know exactly what to look for. Have you gotten any vet recommendations for Ecudor?
  • Sounds like maybe something is not well within that practice for vets to come and go so quickly?
  • That's the worst part of my business! Good Luck finding the right Vet (as in veterinarian)!
