Wife and I are "Dad and Mom". Alternatively: "Pillow"; "Kitchen Staff"; "Personal Sofa".

I know that she knows my name is Tom. We've had many people test her with, "Find Tom" or "Find Sarah."

But privately, what name would she use? I'm sure that has changed over the years. We've done a lot of training and competing together - tracking, agility, obedience - and a lot of playing. I hope she would think of me as a partner, as I do her.

Yes. Except I'm totally convinced the pets have their own preferred version depending on species. The cats use the more formal "Mother" while the dog prefers the more casual and juvenile "Mommer." ;)
