Yes tried a couple fish / salmon formulas prior to the venison. All of which was a no go!
But, thanks for the tip. If all else fails, as suggested, I'll use Google. He'll more then likely starve if he had to bring down his own meat!
Don't think a Vegan formula's gonna work. If his nose don't catch a hint of meat, don't think he's gonna eat it.

PS The receptionist suggested (as mentioned) either the Royal Canin Limited Ingredient Duck and Potato, or the Limited Ingredient Hydrolyzed Protein formula.
PPS See what I mean about NOT looking forward to this.PPPS Susan, I have confidence that you be able to figure out what he'll eat, or make him eat what YOU what him to eat (even turning him into a Vegan, probably). So how much do you, would you, or even if you'll do this sort of thing? Charge me to leave the Boy with you for a couple of days, week/s to figure this out? He could loose a couple of pounds as well! And ........ to be honest, .... I could use the vacation! ... :S ... :B
