The second Vet said it may be a reaction to the Frontline I had put on a few days before this started. He has eaten a few of his treats and drank some water.
He purrs when I sit with him and pet him, doesn't seem to hurt anywhere, just lethargic.
Whatever his fate is I will not rush into anything. Thanks to everyone for the nice messages.. Bob J.
When we first got our latest cat, from a rescue, he of course came with fleas. So we got the stuff and treated him, and our other 3 cats at the time with the stuff as well. All of them had different reactions. The newest one was fine. One of the females just got lazy...but she is pretty much always lazy lol. Other female drooled profusely. The last male decided to throw up. Was very odd and freaked us out a bit.
Anyways, sometimes good to get a second opinion and a little time, especially when you have recently done something different.
Just recently when my Gizmo had the blockage, we had been trying to change the brand of food just before it happened. We figure that might have been the cause for it, because all of our cats had been a on special diet based on one who is with us no more...who had a similar instance a few years ago. Its expensive food that helps with urinary issues but since none of our current cat family had issues we figured we could change.
We are now back on the special food. None of them liked any of the other brands anyways...always yelling at us!
