How long a leash?
Ok many CG's allow pets, great. Most if not all CG's state that pets in my case dog must be attached at all times, that I can understand as some people have no control over their dog. So my question ...

I have a small arsenal of leashes: the 6' length requested by almost any place; retractable belt leashes for when we discover an open area; and 25' check-cords for romping away from an RV park if we're not comfortable letting them offleash (we will stop at places like Cabelas, who have huge open lawns, and let our dogs play fetch for a few minutes)
I use (2) 10' cable ties when we're sitting outside under the awning - my dogs won't potty on our site anyway, so they don't need to wander too far from us. At one point I had 3 dogs; then the senior guy just dragged a leash, rather than get tied up. He understood and obeyed the command "stay on the rug"
