I didn't know what collie eye was, so I looked it up. Does this normally affect both eyes? Is the pup able to see now? My last girlie was blind, so I know they can lead normal lives. . . seen a lot of blind dogs. Just wondered the likelihood of that with your new pup.
My last four dogs have had life altering disabilities, but just like our human relatives, we love them in spit of all that and do what we can to provide a great home live.
