I am at my wits end on trying to give meds

Dr. Doug, thanks for your input. Believe me, I have no intentions of forcing pills in her mouth. It would be counterproductive and to much stress for both of us. I want her around for a long time and the only way for this to happen is giving the correct amount of meds to her.
So far, we are doing good. Now that I am not putting any meds in her food and not having her "hear" the med bottles, she is eating them with either a small amount of cheese or small amount of hot dog. Hopefully this will keep working. However if not, everyone here has helped me with other ideas. Jan
