Seems that there are getting to be a lot of "adoption agencys" appearing on the scene. We feel that most of them are doing a good service, and are devoting a lot of their lives to rescue and care for homeless animals. However, I would be very careful in dealing with one that you do not know personally, or that comes recommended by someone you trust. In our case, we just adopted a wonderful little gentleman about 9 years old. 10" tall, about 8 pounds or so. Only cost was having him fixed, and a lasting promise to love and care for him. So far, as he becomes more attached to us, and comfortable in his new home, he if becoming less of a stately gentleman, and more of a spoiled fun-loving little rascal.
