This may sound like a plug, but we have worked with NCRUFF recently and it was a great experience. They really knew the animals attitudes, health issues, training, etc and were eager to share it. They want the animals to be a good fit where they are going and go out of their way to ensure owners know what they are getting into. No one tried to talk us into anything but based on our lifestyle some dogs were a better fit than others (which we already knew by breed but it was good to hear).
