Why do think we want to rescue/adopt if not for giving a pet a better life. Do either myself or my DH know of a dog that is outside 24/7/365? No.
Yes I have been on Petfinder/All paws and Adopt a Pet. If there is a website I will go to it. If I can fill out application forms I do. If I can ask questions or comments I do. Right off the bat I give the name of my vet, vet office, address, phone # and their website. This is so that they can check out the info I have given is legit and make a call.
What bothers me is when I have asked questions no one sends a message to my email that I provide. In fact there are a few of the rescues that I have liked on face book and one woman has put a comment that she inquired about adopting a male and female and had still not heard from them in 2 weeks! That is insane!!
Am I being picky for wanting a small dog, maybe but I know what will fit our house. I am looking for an adult or senior and not as many want an older dog.
