A really good thought. If we lived in a rural area where this was likely to occur we probably would. As we have a very reliable power company and very infrequent outages, our only plan is to use the MH genny to power phones, computers and a few lights if a longer term problem.
Graham, those thoughts did cross my mind. I appreciate the challenges of providing medical care in disaster zones, war fronts and third world countries. I'd love to sit around a campfire and hear some stories.
I suspect our veterinary hospital is better equipped than many of the medical facilities in some of those areas.
