- nabiExplorerI guess I am lucky as all of my wees love veggies..although Zari isn't crazy about corn...cooked broccoli is a fav as is raw green pepper...thin sliced raw carrots are always a treat...
Izzys brown fir is coarser than the white also...her mohawk is very stiff fur, you can comb it down flat and it pops right back up LOL
PS...don't tell Izzy about butter on corn...hers is served plain LOL - CA_POPPYExplorerOur Rosie has Izzy's coat with exactly that kind of fawn "ticking" effect, same color, except Rosie's face and head are pure white. The texture on her white is real soft like a cat or bunny and the beige is more coarse. Funny, as she was all white like her tiny chi mom for several years.
I think Susan is right about the eating veggies often being a learned trait. Rosie and Poquita would never touch a veggie until Darcy got here and Darcy eats everything. Now, so does Rosie. Lance, try throwing a little tomato sauce on cooked veggies and watch Calvin make 'em disappear. :W - Code2HighExplorerFrom what I've seen, eating veggies is either a behavior they pick up from other dogs, or by eating veggies that are prepared with stuff they like. Over time they come to understand that this is "food."
Corn on cob with butter on it would be enough to get a dog started.
Carrots cooked in broth might work. Once they're accepted, then switching to raw could work. - AZPopsExplorerHow the heck do you get the Wee's to eat veggies? Calvin, took a carrot stick from me once, went to his pillow, dropped it, looked back at me, as if to ask, .... WTH is this you just gave me, yuck!

PS Izzy, you are a beautiful girl! Be careful when you're south of the boarder though! I heard them Spanish guys sure know how to whisk a girl off her feet!
