Aww, I can imagine how that feels to you. Our Darcy recently had a dental and a minor surgery @ the animal hospital where Poquita was sent to the Bridge. It gave me a bit of a twinge but they are good there, and friendly, and Darcy did fine. Izzy's surgery sounds much less complicated than Bella's, thank goodness. If they are willing to take her on, knowing her full history, that's a very good sign. You just have to be brave, Mama, and Izzy will be so much better off once you make your move South.

Thanks everyone...I just got an email for our DVM that moved away in the spring...she is very relieved that we are taking Izzy to the OVC...she was the one that was to operate on Izzy when her heart rate plummeted...they had a terrible time getting Iz stabilized so she was relieved to hear she would be under the watchful eye of an anesthesiologist ...we will take Zari with us as she would be heart broken to be at the boarding kennel alone...

Glad to hear Darcy did so well...always a worry until they are back home with us !

We will be hoping for the best on her surgery date, as well as during her recovery.
