Thanks guys. Your thoughts are very much appreciated. How Jake (our other Springer) handles the loss is weighing heavy on our minds. He seems OK-a little lost maybe but otherwise normal. The big test will be when he goes to bed-Jesse will not be with him. He will definitely be allowed to sleep upstairs if he so decides. Time will tell.
