Dr. Doug, that is the same article our vet printed and gave to me before I left yesterday. Great minds think alike. :) We like her and appreciate everything she does but she is not an orthopedic surgeon and it seems everyone specializes today. There is another vet that does this type of surgery routinely, she comes to their clinic two days a week, I am planning to consult with her on Friday. I called someone a friend told me about and talked with a vet tech there. I am gathering information and hope to get a better idea of what grade Bella is before I make the decision on when to set up a surgery for her. Bella is taking a low dose of Rimadyl and I will have the necessary x-rays done before I make a decision.
