Robbie has only been with us for 6 months. He's definitely getting in to the swing of how things work here. He comes to the kitchen and does a perfect sit until the cookies are done... at which time, he is happy to step up and be a taste tester. It really is fun watching the two boys adapt. They are teaching each other tricks. Double trouble. LOL
We make sugar cakes - a recipe my great-grandmother (1880-1970) made for us as kids. They are really temperamental and take some time and adjustment with each batch. So we make them, since no one else does. I like seeing family traditions handed down. For my grandson it's a recipe handed down through 6 generations (at least)
