. . . . getting spayed. We just got back from dropping her off this morning. She was not a happy camper as she was being led (dragged) back to the "inner sanctum". :( She'll also be getting a nail trim and microchip while she's there. Gretchen seems a little disoriented without Inga here to pester her. She hasn't even woofed her breakfast down yet . . . :h We always feed them together, and she knows something is "wrong".:(

They do bond quickly and they are such worrywarts too...but She'll be onevery happy dog when Inga comes home!Sher

Having them leave our care is one of the hardest things we do...I bet right after Inga was out of your sight she settled right into getting lots of TLC from the vet techs...Keeping Inga in my prayers today...she will be home before you know it, ready for some special treats and hugs..

Thinking about her... how did she do??

Gretchen will sniff Inga all over and say to herself, "Ah, yes, I remember THAT!" It sure makes for us a nervous day, though, doesn't it? Hope all went well.

Great to hear all went well for Inga! Drive's me nuts to no end when I have to leave the dog/s to have a procedure done.

Glad she's home and doing well, sometimes it is hard to keep them quiet when they're this young.
Thanks for the pics, she's a beauty but then again so is Gretchen.

Be sure and watch out for that "itchy stage" with the stitches? I found that if I kept Jimmy on his painkiller - he was fine - but the moment it wore off - he was gnawing at his incision...

Ben will be "facing the knife" pretty soon (he's 5-1/2 months), but he's such a little guy and hasn't shown an inkling of being "masculine" - that I'll give him a little time......

Glad Inga is home and doing well. What beautiful doggies! And Inga sure grew up fast! Hard to believe she was just a little thing a few months ago.

Did good!

Our vet said, upon leaving the office, to make sure we try and limit her wild craziness for the next few days. We get home, I open the hatch on the CRV, and she leaps out before I can even get it open halfway!:E She was very happy to be home. Luckily, no busted stitches or anything.:p

We are happy Lori loves her purse! As far as hooking up, I know that Garland really wants to back to the Berlin, OH. area again sometime in the not too distant future. Maybe we can figure something out next year.:@

Miss Inga came home yesterday at 3:00pm, still suffering the worst hangover of her short life. :p She was just the calmest, laid back little dog, until everything wore off at about 10:00pm last night. Then, she was ready to go! Unfortunately for her, we were all in bed at that time after a long day.:S

She is fine today, showing no outward signs of anything out of the ordinary. Well, almost that is. She really was not interested in her breakfast this morning, which is out of the ordinary. We came home with some Carprofen, just in case she seems uncomfortable. We gave her one this morning, just to help her through today. I think I'd want something after having surgery the day before.

We go back next Monday for post-op check, and then again the Monday after that to have the stitches removed.

Here's a couple pics I took a few minutes ago. The pics make Inga look big, but she is still small compared to Gretchen. Inga is about 52 pounds, and Gretchen is about 75 pounds:
