"modern wolves are not dogs' direct ancestors"

I think the folks who say "wolves only eat meat, therefore my dog should only eat meat" miss the part about the wolves preferred meal is the entrails. And it's not like they fuss about the grass, fruit, grains, foliage etc contained in those parts....
