Mortal Enemies

I am letting a friend of mine and his cat stay for a few days while his apartment is repainted. His cat is a seven year old female, fairly calm but my 5 month old kitten has tested her patience quite a few times.

Just prior to this picture there was a 30 minute chase and hide, mostly instigated by my hellion. She had taken refuge under the sofa where the older cat won't fit and would do sneak attacks.

Then after all the spitting and meowing it was nap time.
