Your friends are hoarders, unfortunately. They will likely lose some cats (and probably find more) along the way. Did you say they will stay somewhere near you when they arrive in the West? Is it a rural area? At some point they will come to the attention of the authorities. It's a very unhealthful living situation, but I'm sure you've tried to point that out. It's nice of you to try to find them some information.
