This was clearly a case of poor communication. The OP still hasn't confirmed that the dog is a service dog: "k9 special training" could be anything from obedience training, CGC training, service dog training or even protection/police training. She should have been more specific, both to the campground and to the Forum: Effective Communication requires that a person successfully convey both the meaning and context of the message to his or her audience; unfortunately, this is too seldom the case, and the result is usually a misunderstanding.
