I was thinking the same thing! Another breed suggested on a dog forum I'm a member of, that I'd never heard of is the Sporting Lucas Terrier. Nash has the build of one and the hair pattern, especially on his face, according to some photos on this site: http://thesportinglucasterrierclub.com/.
His head/ears do look more like the Lucas Terrier. The thing that made me think Silky Terrier, was the length of his back and the way the long black hair lays and naturally parts on the back.
Whatever he is, he is cute and he is yours. May you have many years together, making happy memories for the future. He's a lucky boy.
