When we hit the next biggest town, we're thinking of getting her a full blood workup again.
The "thundershirt" seems to be helping lessen her anxiety. She's now in it during the evening.
We do have a cheap portable crate which we might put her in at night. Our new rescue sleeps in one so he's not in her way overnight.
The funny thing is she's fine during the day... no issues.. other than the fact she's not thrilled with the newcomer. But they play together, walk and run... other than a couple of outbursts, she's been good with him.
That's interesting, it really doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the new addition...more likely something about the night time and dimmer light.
I personally think having the new dog is good her. If they run and walk together there is some acceptance there...you may upset her now if you took the new pup away.
I'd keep it for sure.
