One thing she finally taught me. She would ram her head between my legs and just stand there. Sometimes not too gentle. I finally got smart. She wants a back rub. Now that I learned the program, the ramming is more frequent. She must think humans are slow learners but she never gave up...
I must thank you folks. I thought my wacko ideas would bring comments that I was "smokin' sumpthin". It used to be the thought that animals ran on instinct, not having the power to think. I don't read that anymore. When I tell our Pit something, a new command, not repetition training, he understands.... Example...Call Lady, tell her to come in the house. He scans the yard, When she shows up, he's proud as hell. He did it.. Don't tell me dogs can't communicate mentally... This is why I consider myself a dog wacko. I'm retired and have the time to thoroughly pay attention to our pets.. They are not potted plants.. They are teachers.. It's fun..
