No intention of shooting raptors. Crows do a job of running off owls, and others during daylight, this time of year. Found a feather from an owl in the drive plucked out, no doubt by the crows. Heard a hawk scream earlier today, so they're still around.
Cat is pretty good size and no food is left outside. he keeps the rodents in check somewhat. Probably will have to have him neutered and brought inside this winter. He has a nice fiberglass hut.
I haven't seen any foxes here but they might be a contributor to the turkeys not showing up much this last few months.
Hope it isn't skunks but they do like to roam close to houses. It is concrete so not any digging unless they get under porches. Dakota use to bark at something several times a night. May have to put in a door so he can go at them again. He's retired though. Goes to bed earlier than us and grins and kinda barks lowly, in his sleep. Cat food in the traps I guess it is.
