New puppy Ben moves in!!
We picked up our little cutie last night - yes, I cried when I saw the gray-and-white ball of fluff because even though he doesn't really look like my sweet Ike - I'm still kind of sensitive to ANYTHING gray-and-white :-) Bunnies might set me off, ya know....
So here's Ben ("Bentley" like the car - he's got all that "chrome"..LOL!)
Has already figured out that "outside" is the place to potty - this morning, he went galloping towards the glass slider/crashed into it; then whined and jumped at the door frantically.... it only took me 3 seconds to get there, but I was too late....LOL! So I'm thinking he'll be a piece of cake to housebreak. Plays fetch masterfully at 7-1/2 weeks...LOL! And REALLY likes to be held and cuddled!

Jimmy isn't sure about sharing me with him yet; Jim's never been around a bouncy puppy before, but he DID ring the doorbell to tell me that Ben needed to go out to pee. I think they'll be great pals eventually!
And here's another look at my (late) heart-dog Ike.
Ike was a purebred, full-sized Aussie in the typical blue-merle color. Ben doesn't have the tan points; is 1/2 poodle; and he'll be about 75% smaller and he has blue eyes. In other words - nobody is expecting him to be anything other than himself.
