non-spill, non-splash dog bowl? Interested?

Is this something that would interest those of you that travel with pets, especially dogs? Or do you already have one?

I've had an idea kicking around in my head for a while, but I have no idea what the demand might be. I'd love to hear your opinions.

  • I've not had much trouble with my dog's bowls spilling or splashing on their own. Mine are all stainless steel, about 12" diameter, and have the very wide, flat bottom, more of a pan than a bowl. Got them at a big box store.

The dog on the other hand, he's the source of the mess :)

Sifting through his food, he'll pick up pieces he doesn't like for some reason, and drop them outside the bowl.

While getting a drink, he'll lay down and tip the bowl toward him so the water flows into his mouth, but also all over the floor.

While camping, he gets fed and watered outside :)

At the house, his bowls are set up higher, so he can't tip the water bowl at least.
