Our MH is ultra leather, because it is a cream colour it needs to be wiped down regularly but we do not cover it. We have a few fabric pillows on it as the dogs like to use them as head rests.
So far no holes, no scratches. We used to have a cloth one. Ditched it right away and replaced it with the leather. Would never have anything else with dogs.
Pretty much the same sentiment here. Leather is great for dogs.
