Thank you for all the comments. My husband just says let it go and find out....cover if something happens. I just can't vision in my mine my golden or two mini dachshund jumping on the leather couch and not putting holes or scratches. Friends of ours with dogs say they prefer leather for dogs as well. Granted the couch will look nicer without the cover.
