Pets at campgrounds

Usually means outside.
Not in my experience-usually means either. Check with the individual campground. Rules are different from cg to cg. Some don't care about size or breed, some do. Although many on here think it's acceptable, I wouldn't flaunt the rules. It's unfair as no one is "special" and exempt, although they think they might be, and you don't want to face getting removed from the cg with no place to go. Even if they are quiet when you are away from the RV there's always a chance some nosy posey will squeal.
We didn't travel all that much with the dogs because we have an excellent kennel where they get lots of space, exercise, and love. If we couldn't take them with us when we were exploring or leave them in the RV for at least short periods of time (dogs need their rest too), they went to the doggie hotel.
