Pets death while traveling?
Our Toller is almost 15 years old and has had two episodes of Canine Vestibular Syndrome. She is doing "ok" but not great. We are leaving in two weeks for a long trip and are very concerned about her....

Think good thoughts. Our lab went thru this Canine Vestibular Syndrome and she got over it. We thought she was done for. Sea sick pills for about a week and she was started to get better and better then alright. There are many videos showing dogs with it. Either what you call it or "old age vestibular". Ours lived another 4 years after that to 18!!!. I think she did lose some hearing after that, don't know if age or vestibular that caused hearing loss.
If we lost ours on the road I would call local vet wherever we were and have her remains cremated and sent to our address at home. If we were full timing and without a home I would carry her remains with us until we found a perfect spot where we knew that she where she would want to be.
