Pets

Pick up your pet's poop people. That's all I have to say on the topic.

  • Could be worse - I had camping neighbors who had their kids (as in HUMAN CHILDREN not goats) pooping and peeing around their campsite because they were too lazy to walk them three sites up to the bathrooms...

I don't think your post will help the problem, but if posting made you feel better, then it helped you.

BTW, I agree, no one likes setting up on a site, with pet poo all over it from former occupant.

  • I do pick up my pets poop. And , so do most pet owners. But, like every ohter group of people there are a few bad ones.

Also, I have been at parks and seen poop and after looking at it I think it was probably not from a pet but, from some wild animal instead. I wonder how many pet owners get blamed for wild animal poop.
  • Never seen anyone on the trail stopping to pick up manure, so I would say no!

I'm guessing you wanted to say, Your pet's poop.

Or did you mean, Our pet's poop :B
Speaking with years of experience, some people will interpret it one way and an equal number the other.

  • I was reading a brochure about equestrian trails in state parks and national forest land.

Strangely lacking from the brochure was the subject of the horses' dung.

Do horse riders have to dismount and scoop while on public trails? Any one with first hand experience riding on public lands?
