Last weekend was our first one away at a sheepdog trial since we ran hot wire inside the perimeter; Sam and Wendy stayed home! We had another sheepdog trial scheduled but it was cancelled when the host farm was flooded (bad flooding).
We have one weekend home and then off to WI. The dogs need some specific training before the next trial. Nell needs a refresher on obedience and all need practice on double lifts and doglegged fetches. (Will explain later if there is interest)
Btw Lee was very good last weekend; placed 3rd out of about 85 including 6 of the top 10 dogs in North America.
