Police dog hero but declining

He deserves a medal of honor. My thoughts on the suffering of the handler and the other officers.

My deepest sympathy to the Pittsburg PD and most of all his handler who Roco sacrificed his life for. I know the handler is going through terrible grief right now not to mention his fellow officers.

God bless his noble soul.

I hope Rocco was able to leave a permanent impression (teeth marks) on the criminal.

No greater sacrifice that to give your life so that another can live, just like a soldier giving his life saving his fellow soldier.

That Police Dog selflessly died in line of duty in order that humans could continue to live. Note that at 8 years old Rocco was 52 in human years and very close to retirement.

They just reported that at 6:30 PM EST that Rocco has passed. RIP Hero!

MA state police just had to put one of their hero K-9 German Shepherds to sleep because of cancer. Really sad.
