My biggest gripe with the Royal Canin prescription foods is the bags keep getting smaller (largest Urinary SO is now 25.3lbs). If you have to raise prices then do it. Don't try to make me feel better by simply reducing how much is in each bag; doing so increases the cost/lb due to handling & packaging costs (typically fixed cost per bag) in addition to the other source(s) of the increasing price.
