With respect: Housebreaking is LESS of an issue with Retired racing Greys. They do not soil their "cages" and are actually used to doing their business when released outside into the exercise yard or walked. Of course, there are a few exceptions.
Our first Greyhound would not even "go" in our campsite! She had to be walked. So she was not only house trained but camping trained! Yes, we always picked up.

The comment regarding problems housebreaking is absolutely not true with the racing greyhounds
