Play in peace at the bridge Abby. My thoughts go out to you all.

I do find comfort knowing that they are together and that someday I'll see them again. One thing I find therapeutic is that I create a photo book of my pup. I go through all my pics (and I have A TON of them), and I get to remember all the fun times we had together. Agnes

She is a beauty! So sorry for your loss. She had a wonderful life and is surely romping with all our pets who have passed on.

You know Agnes, when my Pom Zachery passed away, the one comfort I had was that he was running at the bridge with our beloved Lab Sofie. Sofie and Zack were for nine years best friends, that made me smile a little bit.
So now I'm sure Abby was greeted gleefully by Haley and they are running free and free of any pain...wonderful vision!

I remember years ago when you had Haley (I think) and Abby and I thought
they were the most beautiful Goldies I'd ever seen.
I know your loss is deep and I'm sorry you have to go thru it again with such a young dog.
My condolences to you and to Penny who will feel the loss greatly too.

Agnes, I am just seeing this thread. I am so sorry for your loss of Abby. I know from your posts how beloved she was. We have a blind friend who lost her guide dog to the same type of cancer. So terrible. I am glad Penny is a mix and hopefully will avoid that genetic time bomb. We are all hurting for you...

I'm so sorry to see this, we lost our first Golden at 8 years old also. They are truly the angels of the canine species and I figure the good Lord just likes them back a little early. My thoughts are with you.
