Scenery while traveling
Do your dogs like to look out the window when traveling? My Collies sleep only getting up when I slow down for towns. Andy (gone now) loved to watch the scenery.

When my Husky was still alive she loved to get the "power sniff" - head out the window and eyes closed, sniffing for minutes at a time. She moved from one side to the other constantly and rarely slept. Our current dogs sleep for almost the entire trip and we know to stop when they wake up so they can take a break.
