Scenery while traveling
Do your dogs like to look out the window when traveling? My Collies sleep only getting up when I slow down for towns. Andy (gone now) loved to watch the scenery.

I've had both. Ike was a true sightseer; but he was tall enough to sit on the couch, rest his head on the back of the seat, and watch the world go by. Jack the Cattle Dog just slept.
Jimmy is like Jack - just wants to snooze. Little Ben wants to be held, so he can see out the window.
Funny story: Ike and Jack went with us to Alaska. They've always liked cows and horses, who rated a single "bark!" as we'd pass. I think it was Stone Mtn Provincial Park where we were stopped by a herd of bison crossing the highway - and it was certainly the closest we've ever been to anything that big! Both "brave" dogs sat stonefaced - I think they weren't going to do anything to peeve the huge beasts?!
