Scenery while traveling
Do your dogs like to look out the window when traveling? My Collies sleep only getting up when I slow down for towns. Andy (gone now) loved to watch the scenery.

My Mother had a Mini Doxie. Little Trouble used to jump into the Grandkid's Car Seat as soon as she got in and stayed there for the entire ride.
Whenever she traveled with me she would sleep until I stopped. If I stopped in a rest area for a quick nap she would sit on the console and keep a watch over me until I put me car in gear to leave.
Funny story, I had a Full size Chevy Low Top Conversion Van that had 4 Captains Chairs and a Bench seat all the way in the back. One time I had a Van load for trip to my Brother's home about 2 hours away. My BIL was sitting in the Captain's Chair that was behind the front passenger seat. Well, Little Trouble was driving him nuts by jumping up and down trying to sit in his lap. I finally looked back and told him the he was sitting in HER SEAT! The look on his face was priceless.
When we travel with our Two Girls they ride in the Back seat of me truck. We have a seat cover that hooks to both the Front and Back Headrests, this way there in no way for them to fall off of the seat. Ever since we got this cover, both Girls go to sleep as soon as we start moving and usually not move until we stop.
