Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmph! Love to say it... Told you so! :B Dogs are the best thing for dogs. Especially dogs that lack confidence. They can learn in a few days from another dog what you'd try for months or years to teach yourself. And confidence/skills in one area do affect others.
Tiki had a chance to learn from some other dogs, and he's now paying it forward. If you can, I would keep him going at least occasionally for a while.
Yeah, I think we'll want to keep going to doggy daycare for awhile. It really wears him out, too, and you know a tired dog is a good dog. :p
We'll see how it goes this week. I've got to go down to Mobile(AL) to visit my mom and we're taking Tiki. She has a laid-back Border Collie mix and two cats. The dog will be fine with Tiki, and I think if he gets up in their space the cats will dispatch him pretty quick. We'll take the crate and keep him leashed in the house, at least until I see that he's gonna behave. My mom is anxious to meet him, so I really hope it goes well.
