Sebolux Replacement-Dr. Doug (or other)

Dr. Doug (or anyone else!),

Jesse has atopic dermatitis and takes Apoquel. We used to use Sebolux for shampoo, which is no longer available. I had found a similar substitute but unfortunately can't find the order I placed nor do I remember the website. Our vet is under new management and has raised prices on products and services quite a bit so I don't want to purchase anything there and regrettably my own vet has become a less cooperative for alternative suggestions. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  • I purchase Calvin's shampoo and conditioner (Virbac Epi-Soothe) from either Chewy's or Dr.'s Foster and Smith. Good prices, and great customer service from both sites.

I've used Dr.'s Foster and Smith for a number of years. Have been very happy. Ordered the Keratolux from them.

    Thanks all!

  • Our Lab, Ollie, also has atopic dermatitis and is on Apoquel as well as antigen injections. We have used Keto-C shampoo with good success.
  • Thanks Dr. Doug! I have seen the Keratolux but wasn't sure if it used the same ingredients. That seems to be readily available.
  • Check on Amazon, there are several "keratolytic" type shampoos that basically have some kind of acid (salicylic or boric) base. One is Keratolux (virbac pharm), another Malacetic (dechra pharm).
