Seresto vs. Scalibor flea/tick collars
Any thoughts on the above flea/tick collars on their effectiveness, safety, and whether or not they can be used with Revolution? The Revolution works great on everything but ticks and the dogs are on...

We have Soresto collars on all three of our dogs and the reason I decided to try these was because I wasn't having a lot of luck with other products.
We started with them last September so all three are on their second collars.
We still do heartguard.
We have not found any fleas or ticks since being on them... We are surrounded by woods up here in NY so ticks have always been a problem, fleas too but they were a year round problem also being in Florida in the winter.
They have shown no side effects even with the 9 lb 14 yr old Poodle.
I will continue to use them since they have been so effective.
If you choose to go with them, do not let your dogs swim with them or bathe with them, it does reduce the length of time they are effective.
