We lost our Schnauzer, Bonnie, last year.
Last summer we adopted another Schnauzer, we named Annie May. And this month, we adopted another Schnauzer and we call her Peggy Sue. So now we have 3 Schnauzers. Still have Lucy Lou. She is 10 now.

Max taught Dash important GSD stuff, like digging technique, creative redecorating, and how to get the other dog in the house blamed for something you did.

Wise man, Walter! Adopting a puppy into the household while Gretchen is able to train and discipline the wee one suitably. We also felt that our Jake got a second wind when puppy Tazz came in to the house ... he had to strut his stuff and stay on top of things so perked up considerably!

There is SOOO much wisdom that can be passed from an awesome dog to a puppy! My late Ike did an fabulous job teaching Jimmy "important stuff" - like never potty in the house, don't jump on children, listen for the rustle of a cheese wrapper....stuff like that :-)
