Talking to myself

After many years of dogs, and talking to them I find myself talking to myself and inanimate objects more all the time. Am I going nuts, or do other people do it to?

I will occasionally tell inanimate object to "stay" if they look like they are going to move when I don't want them to.

I seem to be doing this when walking my dog. I tell the dog about everything I see.

Everynow and then I will get a glance back from the dog but all he is really interested in is who has pooped in his favorite spot...

  • What I find a bit weird is when I think I'm talking to a dog or a cat and I look around and . . . I'm completely alone. It's rare (to be alone). But it does happen.
