Teaching an old dog new tricks
BF and I recently rescued a dog. She is part pit and part traveling salesman from what I can tell. I'll post a pic and you all can give me your best guess. Also, I'm guessing she's around 5 years old....

Thank you all for your support. One problem has been solved with the toilet. She walked into the bathroom the first few times last night and whined because the lid was closed. I don't think she drank a thing last night because this morning, after I put fresh water in their bowls, she drank her's dry and then went into Bella's bowl.
Code2High, I have been doing the structured walks since the 3rd day she was here. I have tried walking them together, but that hasn't worked out so well. Bella forgets all her training and starts doing what Libby does. It makes it very difficult on me, so I have been walking them separately. I am going to work on this, though.
I'll keep you all updated.
Oh, and I read about NILIF training, and unwittingly, that is what I have always done with Bella, and what I am now doing with Libby. I learned this from my dad, who used to train championship winning hunting dogs. Wow...Dad really knew his stuff a LONNNGGGG time ago!
