well certainly since last fall when she had the bout of bradycadia with anesthesia and they couldn't finish her surgery...since she is asymptomatic other than with anesthesia and EKG's its hard to say...the cardiologist cannot believe that she has not had syncope but we have never witnessed it..so whether she has had it ( SSS ) from birth is the question of the day !
She just had a good supper...we have to hand feed her so she is loving that !

She's looking good. She's probably ok with the denim but that collar's a pita.

The cardiologist has Izzy wearing the Holter monitor for 72 hrs and then will decide what the next step is...the discharge report states " continuous EKG determined a high suspicion of Sick Sinus Syndrome along with the episodes of cardiac arrest during anesthesia " So we will find out after they review the Holter findings...if she does need the Pacemaker we will have to return to the OVC for placement as she will arrest again with anesthesia so will require an external pacemaker during surgery. But we will cross that bridge when we come to it...for now we are just happy to have our Izzypop back with us...
The doctor was kidding us about Izzy not being able to wear any bling with her Elizabeathan collar and I reached in my pocket and pulled out a pack of stick on bling...Dr Pinard laughed and said please email me a pic of her in her blinged-out E Collar ...I am going to wait until she is out of her Holter monitor/denim jacket with the coban wrap to keep it on her LOL

How did the cardiology report go? If Izzy needs a pacemaker, can the vets near your home do it? That is quite the journey for all of you to make, but worth it, I am sure.

Izzy is home ( well hotel room ) with us...she is doing very well...her chest is sore and she lets you know if you're holding her a bit tight..if all is well in the morning we will head home...she was quite the hit with all the staff...Dr Pinard was saying Izzy would not walk for them and they couldn't figure out why...I put her down on the floor and walked away and she scrambled after me...reason she wouldn't walk...she didn't have too ... there was always someone willing to carry her LOL

Really, I would be more distressed by the cone of shame than denim.

She does, however, wear both well.
